Account Manager, Insurance Segment

About the role

The Insurance Segment Account Manager will oversee assigned client accounts, support the Head of Insurance Segment, and act as the primary liaison between customers, insurers and internal teams. This role ensures smooth onboarding of new clients and drives business growth through strong relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned client accounts and provide administrative support to the Head of Insurance Segment.
• Liaise with insurers, follow up on issues, and serve as the key interface between customers and relevant departments.
• Maintain and deepen client relationships, contribute to new‑business initiatives, and ensure effective onboarding of new clients.
• Develop and execute business plans for existing and prospective opportunities.
• Maintain high customer‑satisfaction ratings that meet organizational standards.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, act as backup for the Head of Insurance, and prepare quotations/proposals under minimal supervision.
• Create account profiles and assist in business‑development planning for assigned accounts.
• Identify and nurture opportunities with existing clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4‑5 years of relevant experience in the healthcare or insurance industry.
• Independent, customer‑oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Strong teamwork and detail‑orientation.
• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English.
