Account Manager

About the role

As an Account Manager at Marsh, you will support the preparation and implementation of business plans, build and maintain long‑term relationships with key client decision makers, and ensure service delivery aligns with agreed standards. You will work within a global leader in risk, reinsurance and consulting, operating in 130 countries, and contribute to a diverse, inclusive and flexible work environment that embraces hybrid working.

Marsh offers a hybrid work model, requiring presence in the local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week, fostering collaboration and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and implement business plans and goals.
• Build long‑term relationships with key client decision makers and monitor organisational changes.
• Manage all aspects of account management and service delivery to ensure client needs are met.
• Monitor political, management and other changes within client organisations to protect relationships.
• Identify and document revenue generation, growth and other opportunities, developing additional business from existing portfolios.
• Document and execute account retention and defense strategies.
• Maintain awareness of potentially complicated claim matters and assist claims personnel in negotiating equitable settlements.
• Develop meaningful working relationships with insurers through regular liaison.
• Stay abreast of new technical and product developments across major insurance classes.
