Accountant

About the role

Anglo-Eastern is seeking a diligent Accountant to join its finance team. The role involves managing brokerage fee billing, accounts receivable, corporate reporting and supporting forecasting and budgeting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage brokerage fee billing processes, verify transactions against PowerBI/Eyeshare and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct AR aging reviews, follow up with customers for timely collections and coordinate payments with Treasury.
• Prepare and review monthly reporting packs, ensure accurate submission to Group Finance and provide variance analysis.
• Develop and review financial forecasts and budgets to support business planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a large organization.
• Member or student member of HKICPA or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations and IFRS standards.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Experience with Accounting ERP systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with PowerBI and Eyeshare for transaction verification.
