Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our finance team in Hong Kong. The role involves handling day‑to‑day bookkeeping, preparing monthly financial statements, and supporting statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping, voucher/invoice entry, and account reconciliations.
• Execute monthly closing and prepare financial statements in line with HKFRS and IFRS.
• Assist with Profits Tax returns and other statutory filings.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide documentation for annual audits.
• Verify revenue, cost, and expense entries for accurate accounting treatment.
• Support process optimisation and internal control improvements.
• Handle ad‑hoc financial and accounting tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Hong Kong Permanent Resident, eligible to work full‑time without visa sponsorship.
• Higher Diploma, Associate Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably with Hong Kong bookkeeping or Mainland China teams.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Fluent Cantonese; proficient in English and Mandarin for communication.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS).
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Understanding of Hong Kong tax and statutory compliance requirements.
