Alumni Relations Officer

About the role

The Alumni Relations Officer supports the day‑to‑day operations of the school's alumni network, engaging a dynamic community of former students and contributing to the school's advancement objectives. You will work closely with the Director of Alumni Relations and the Advancement team, gaining opportunities for professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Communications: Deliver outreach across online and offline channels.
• Digital Presence: Manage alumni platforms and social media, analyse content data to boost engagement.
• Event Planning: Assist in planning and executing 20‑25 alumni events per year, ranging from small groups to several hundred attendees.
• Fundraising Support: Help administer the annual alumni fundraising day.
• Data & Resources: Maintain the alumni CRM database and develop career resources.
• Collaboration: Partner with the Advancement team, alumni board members, and volunteers.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in alumni relations, public relations, communications, media, event planning, or education.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Fluent English with strong writing skills; Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Tech‑savvy, creative thinker with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with international or independent school environments is advantageous.
