Assistant Key Account Manager

About the role

The Assistant Key Account Manager will support the development and execution of strategic plans for key FMCG customers, ensuring both gross and net sales targets are met. Working closely with trade marketing and cross‑functional teams, the role focuses on account administration, promotional activities and customer relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop joint business plans (JBP) with customers to achieve sales objectives.
• Handle daily account administration, including purchase order approval and resolution of invoice or debit‑note discrepancies.
• Lead promotional execution, manage trade budgets, optimise shelf space and assess ROI.
• Collaborate with the Trade Marketing team to plan and implement in‑store promotional guidelines.
• Negotiate with customers and conduct regular business review meetings, sharing shopper insights and competitive analysis.
• Coordinate internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance, trade marketing) to fulfil account commitments.

Required profile

• University degree in business, management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of FMCG sales experience with key international or local retailers.
• Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen.
• Results‑oriented, entrepreneurial mindset and self‑motivation.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
