Assistant Manager / Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A

About the role

This position sits within the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis department. The successful candidate will combine large numerical datasets into clear schedules and reports while collaborating with experts across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Group Budget, Forecast and Monthly Review processes.
• Prepare management reports, Board/Executive Committee presentation materials and financial analysis.
• Perform variance analysis and identify key business drivers behind financial performance.
• Partner with Business Unit Controllers and Functions to understand performance and provide insights.
• Coordinate planning assumptions, data collection and reporting submissions across stakeholders.
• Support CapEx, profitability and other ad‑hoc financial analysis.
• Participate in process improvement, report automation and digitalisation initiatives.
• Support finance transformation and system enhancement projects where required.
• Perform other ad‑hoc assignments as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
• 5+ years (Assistant Manager) or 7+ years (Senior Analyst) experience in auditing, FP&A, reporting or business analysis.
• CPA or equivalent preferred; Big 4 and commercial experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work under tight timelines.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for handling large data sets.
• Power BI for data visualisation.
• Experience with FCCS, TM1 or Cognos Controller (or similar tools).
