Assistant Marketing & Communications Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Marketing & Communications Manager to support the Marketing and Communication Vice President for the APAC region, focusing on Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau. The role will help drive PR, media, retail and partnership initiatives that reinforce the brand’s luxury positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Support the VP in planning and executing marketing programs across Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.
• Develop and implement PR and communication strategies, write press releases and translate newsletters in English and Chinese.
• Build and maintain relationships with fashion editors, journalists, celebrities and KOLs; identify gifting and dressing opportunities.
• Coordinate PR events and fashion shows, manage agency and production partners, arrange seating, gifts and collect attendee feedback.
• Oversee PR sample inventory, track rotation, delivery and coordinate with logistics, finance and merchandising.
• Align PR messaging with wholesale partners and department stores to ensure brand consistency.
• Manage crisis communications to protect brand reputation.
• Conduct competitor analysis at the regional level.
• Execute media buying across print, digital, OOH and social platforms; monitor KPIs, impressions, engagement and ROI.
• Liaise with media agencies, negotiate rates and secure premium placements.
• Plan and deliver in‑store events, retail animations, trunk shows, store openings and pop‑ups, adapting concepts to local cultural nuances.
• Manage store‑level brand communications, internal and external promotions, and collaborate with landlords for mall visibility.
• Coordinate external agencies for event concepts, timelines, budgets, design, venues and talent.
