Assistant Tax Manager / Senior Tax Analyst

About the role

The Shangri-La Group is seeking an Assistant Tax Manager / Senior Tax Analyst to support its international tax function, focusing on OECD Pillar Two compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with regional teams and external advisors to ensure the Group meets evolving tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor developments in OECD Pillar Two and other international tax regulations across the Group’s operating regions.
• Collect, analyse, and validate corporate and financial data to assess top‑up tax implications.
• Coordinate with regional offices and external tax advisors to fulfil Pillar Two compliance obligations, including registrations, notifications, filings and payments.
• Support implementation of Pillar Two initiatives and other international tax planning projects.
• Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Review corporate income tax filings and transfer‑pricing documentation for compliance.
• Conduct technical research on international tax, transfer pricing and cross‑border tax matters, providing recommendations on emerging developments.
• Perform other tax‑related duties and ad‑hoc assignments as delegated by the Tax team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Taxation or a related discipline.
• 3‑4 years of tax advisory experience in a Big 4 firm or in‑house tax function.
• Strong technical knowledge of international tax advisory; CPA or equivalent professional membership is mandatory.
• Knowledge of OECD BEPS 2.0 and related tax regulations is an advantage.
