Assistant Vice President, Group Finance

About the role

The Assistant Vice President, Group Finance will join the Group Finance team and report to senior finance leaders. This senior position supports strategic financial decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate financial models, business cases and analyses for operational, investment and funding decisions.
• Manage month‑end closing, internal recharging and the full set of financial books, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory reporting.
• Analyze financial and operational performance and partner with business units to drive initiatives and meet targets.
• Support ad‑hoc projects such as financial due diligence, evaluation of new business opportunities and special analyses.
• Provide professional advice on accounting treatment, financial impacts of proposals, contract review, investment appraisals and governance matters.

Required profile

• Degree holder and qualified accountant with an internationally recognised professional accounting body.
• 8+ years of relevant experience; experience in a Big‑4, multinational corporation or large corporate environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Independent, detail‑oriented team player willing to collaborate across overseas offices and travel as needed.
