Assistant Vice President – Senior Systems Manager, Workplace Technology

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Systems Manager to lead the design, implementation and governance of enterprise end‑user computing platforms for over 2,000 staff in a hybrid workplace environment. The role sits within the Workplace Technology team of the Infrastructure & Operations organization and works closely with Business and IT partners to build a secure, reliable workplace ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate Chinese domestic vendor products on Office Automation (OA) technology and define enterprise workplace architecture in collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Lead proof‑of‑concept testing and implementation of the OA technology stack, covering operating systems, directory services, collaboration tools and endpoint management solutions.
• Partner with Risk and Security teams to ensure compliance with HKEX standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work with infrastructure and application teams to integrate enterprise workplace and virtual desktop platforms.
• Drive pilot deployments, compatibility testing, risk assessments, rollout strategies and continuous improvement based on user feedback.
• Manage vendors to ensure high‑quality delivery and implementation.
• Provide guidance, training and feedback to Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
• Enhance SOPs to improve end‑user support and vulnerability‑management targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in workplace technology, infrastructure or endpoint engineering.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale enterprise deployments or transformation programmes.
• Hands‑on experience with OA technology stacks such as Kylinsoft OS, Uniontech UOS, Leagsoft, Nington and collaboration tools like Lark, DingTalk, WeCom and WeLink.
• Familiarity with enterprise‑grade OA components (Windows 11, Active Directory, Microsoft 365) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Shell script, Python) for automation.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components – servers, networks, databases, storage systems and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with IT Service Management processes and ServiceNow is a plus.
