Associate, Implementation and Client Service, Transaction Banking

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is looking for an Associate to join its Transaction Banking Implementation and Client Service team in Hong Kong. You will support the end-to-end implementation and ongoing service of transaction banking solutions for a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, working closely with internal teams and external partners on onboarding, documentation and responsive support.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate client onboarding and implementation: documentation collection, project planning, connectivity testing, user acceptance testing, readiness checks, go-live coordination and handover.
• Demonstrate e-banking platforms to clients and provide user guidance and post-implementation support.
• Respond to client enquiries by hotline or email, handle service incidents and follow up on transaction requests.
• Work with Sales, Relationship Managers, Product Development, Operations, Technology and regional colleagues to resolve issues and keep clients informed.
• Maintain implementation plans, status updates, testing evidence and records of client communications.
• Support product rollouts, process improvement and digitalisation initiatives, and give feedback on client requirements.
• Build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, share knowledge within the team, and comply with policies, regulations and delegated authorities while escalating risks and supporting audits and business continuity.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in transaction banking operations, client service, implementation or corporate banking.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Information Systems or a related discipline; banking, project management or technology qualifications are beneficial.
• Hands-on experience with transaction banking products such as cash management or digital banking.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Cantonese or Mandarin and Japanese are highly preferred.
• Ability to manage several client requests at once under pressure, with strong attention to detail and risk awareness.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of transaction banking products.
• Microsoft Office.
• Advantageous: e-banking platforms, host-to-host connectivity, payment file formats and UAT.
