Assurance Audit Partner / Senior Manager – Hong Kong & Mainland

About the role

EY Assurance is seeking experienced audit professionals for multiple seniority levels – Partner, Senior Manager, Manager, Senior and Staff – to join our Hong Kong and Chinese mainland teams. You will work within a globally recognised firm, delivering high‑quality financial statement audits and assurance services to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex audit engagements, especially in high‑risk or specialised sectors (Partner level).
• Develop and grow client relationships, identify new service opportunities and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
• Manage audit strategy, risk assessment and delivery of quality outcomes within budget.
• Support the execution of assurance engagements, ensure compliance with EY standards and policies (Senior Manager/Manager level).
• Coach and develop junior team members, share knowledge and promote best practices.
• Perform audit fieldwork, testing and documentation under supervision (Senior/Staff level).

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive public‑accounting experience for Partner role; 5+ years for Senior Manager/Manager roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• HKICPA qualification with a valid Practising Certificate (required for Hong Kong, advantageous for Mainland).
• Proven track record in client relationship management and practice growth.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of audit standards and financial statement audit methodology.
• Experience with risk assessment and audit planning.
