Banquet Server – Hotel & Event Service

About the role

We are looking for a professional Server to deliver attentive food and beverage service at banquets, catering functions and special events at Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West. The role focuses on creating a seamless guest experience while upholding our service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up function rooms and event venues according to event requirements and service standards.
• Prepare tables, chairs, linens, tableware, buffet stations and service equipment before events.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner.
• Assist with buffet replenishment and maintain cleanliness of service stations throughout events.
• Attend pre‑event briefings and follow supervisors’ instructions.
• Communicate with kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle guest requests and enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming, hygiene and service etiquette.
• Assist with event breakdown, clearing and proper storage of equipment after functions.
• Comply with all food safety, hygiene and workplace safety regulations.
• Perform any other duties or projects assigned by management or supervisors.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hotel, banquet, restaurant or catering service; fresh graduates with a positive attitude are also considered.
• Customer‑oriented with a passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Energetic, reliable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; strong team player with a proactive attitude.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Good command of Cantonese; basic English and Mandarin are an advantage.
