Brand Strategist, Executive Office

About the role

Gate, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange, is looking for a Brand Strategist to work directly with a senior executive in the Executive Office. The role will turn complex Web3 developments into compelling bilingual content that positions Gate’s leadership at the forefront of industry conversations. You will create written, video and social media assets that reach a global audience in both English and Chinese.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor trends in DeFi, blockchain protocols and macro‑finance and produce original commentary for the executive.
• Write and edit bilingual thought‑leadership articles, interview briefs, panel talking points and Q&A material without translation seams.
• Film, edit and caption short‑form video content for platform‑native publishing.
• Manage the executive’s social‑media accounts (X and others), setting posting cadence and driving community engagement.
• Draft press releases and announcement copy that aligns with Gate’s brand voice and passes regulatory review.
• Maintain consistent tone and style across all executive‑facing written and video content.

Required profile

• Native‑quality bilingual writing in English and Chinese, both ways.
• Strong understanding of DeFi, blockchain protocols and crypto‑economics.
• Proven experience supporting an executive or founder with public‑facing content (social, press, media).
• Ability to work independently and translate strategic thinking into market‑ready assets.

Required skills

• Bilingual English/Chinese writing.
• Video shooting, editing and captioning.
• Social‑media account management (X and similar platforms).
• Knowledge of DeFi and blockchain protocols.
