Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to prospect and acquire new clients for Coface in Hong Kong, promoting our credit insurance and related financial solutions. You will drive revenue growth, introduce new products and maintain performance of existing offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients through cold calling, networking events, referrals and digital channels.
• Present Coface products, tailor proposals and negotiate contracts up to signature.
• Prepare forecasts, monitor sales pipeline and ensure targets are met.
• Collaborate with internal teams (underwriters, risk, marketing) to develop proposals and marketing actions.
• Gather market intelligence, track competitor activity and suggest product improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in credit insurance, banking, factoring or financial services.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.
