Buyer – Jellycat (Luxury Retail)

About the role

The Buyer dedicated to Jellycat will work closely with the Brand Management team to drive sales, manage inventory and ensure optimal distribution across Lane Crawford stores. You will support the brand in achieving seasonal and yearly sales targets while maintaining healthy stock coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Jellycat brand team to meet seasonal and year‑end sales targets.
• Conduct periodic sales and stock forecasts based on seasonality.
• Manage inventory to maximise sell‑through and mitigate stock shortages or overstocking.
• Monitor shipment deliveries, reviewing delayed shipments for quantity reduction, cancellation or acceptance.
• Lead sales analysis by location and product range, providing regular reports to Jellycat’s UK headquarters.
• Act as the bridge between the brand and internal departments such as Retail, Marketing, Digital, Finance, Logistics and more.

Required profile

• Degree holder with at least 3 years of planning or buying experience in retail, preferably luxury fashion.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Proactive, flexible and able to work with principals and vendors effectively.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Cantonese.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications with advanced skills in MS Excel.
