Consultant / Assistant Consultant – Engagement & Strategy

About the role

Arup is seeking a Consultant or Assistant Consultant to lead and support engagement programmes across a variety of consultancy projects. You will help shape stakeholder interactions, design engagement activities, and deliver insightful analysis that drives project success.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage engagement programmes for multiple consultancy projects.
• Design, research and produce engagement activities and related materials.
• Oversee production and execution of engagement initiatives.
• Conduct engagement analysis and report findings to project teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience; journalism or PR agency background is a plus.
• Strong awareness of public affairs, political issues and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in both English and Chinese.
• Experience coordinating with designers, PR and production agencies.
• Detail‑oriented planning and coordination abilities.
• Collaborative team player comfortable handling multiple concurrent projects.
