Corporate Communications Manager - People & Sustainability Division

About the role

The incumbent will join the Corporate Communications Department to plan and execute strategic communication initiatives that enhance BEA’s brand reputation and support business growth. This role focuses on positioning the bank as an industry leader across Fintech, Wholesale Banking, HR, Facility Management and Sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Handle media enquiries, maintain a media database and coordinate media interviews aligned with business objectives.
• Create communications materials such as press releases, speeches, presentations and social media content.
• Monitor daily news, produce monthly media coverage reports and identify reputation risks and industry trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with regional and local media outlets, especially finance and fintech media.
• Drive integrated digital communications across the corporate website, LinkedIn and intranet.
• Plan and support media engagement activities, including events, sponsorships, product launches and economic outlook sessions.
• Coordinate logistics, vendors and budgets to ensure efficient project delivery and governance.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in communications, journalism, marketing or related fields.
• 6‑8 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in media relations and event management.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
• Innovative, creative and resourceful with a strong sense of ownership and growth mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using AI tools.
• Familiarity with social media operations.
