Deal Management Manager – Strategic Finance Partner

About the role

The Deal Management Manager will act as a strategic finance partner for Mastercard across Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. You will structure, evaluate and execute commercially sound deals that drive sustainable revenue growth while managing risk and ensuring compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support business teams in deal origination to closure, ensuring profitability and adherence to Mastercard financial policies.
• Partner with account managers to design competitive deal constructs for issuers, acquirers, digital wallets and merchants.
• Perform detailed financial analysis, including ROI, NPV modeling and scenario planning to assess risk‑return trade‑offs.
• Challenge assumptions, apply benchmarking and reality checks to strengthen business cases.
• Engage in negotiations, influencing deal economics and ensuring disciplined financial decision‑making.
• Collaborate with Legal, Franchise and Compliance teams to secure contractual clarity and regulatory alignment.
• Provide market insights on portfolio performance, pricing strategies and growth initiatives specific to the HK‑MT region.

Required profile

• Strong intuition with numbers and ability to translate complex financials into actionable business insights.
• Resilient, able to manage ambiguity, tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
• Confident in engaging senior stakeholders and influencing decisions with data‑driven insights.
• Experience in corporate finance, deal structuring or strategic business partnering.
