Head of Claims Advocacy, Hong Kong & Macau

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for a senior leader to head its Claims Advocacy function for Hong Kong and Macau. Based in Hong Kong, you will drive complex negotiations, shape claims strategies and develop new revenue models across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise complex negotiations with insurers to achieve optimal claim outcomes for clients.
• Lead claims insertion and tender/RFP responses for major clients and prospects.
• Partner with regional and country leadership to innovate and execute new revenue models for claims advocacy.
• Oversee workflow management systems to align role, cost and location for optimal efficiency.
• Design, evaluate and improve claims operations processes, driving change and efficiency across the region.
• Provide strategic guidance on regulatory and market imperatives for Hong Kong and Macau.
• Evaluate and resolve escalated high‑complexity claims issues.

Required profile

• University or college graduate, preferably in business, insurance, legal or related fields.
• At least 15 years of relevant insurance experience across multiple product lines.
• Experience working with large corporate accounts and strong account management skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese).
• Ambitious, solution‑focused with strong claims advisory management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Solid negotiation and claims processing expertise.
• Ability to build strong relationships with major market partners.
