Design Engineer – Architectural (Hong Kong)

About the role

We are seeking a Design Engineer specialised in architecture to join our Hong Kong construction team. The role involves delivering innovative design solutions and supporting complex temporary works across a range of public‑sector projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit tender documents in line with project specifications.
• Develop creative and alternative design concepts to improve project outcomes.
• Engineer and design complex temporary structures, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical support throughout all project phases.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or higher.
• Member of HKIE or an equivalent professional body.
• Minimum three years of architectural design or coordination experience in a consultancy, design institute or contractor environment.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese communication abilities.

Required skills

• Modular Integrated Construction (MiC).
• Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) for prefabricated structures.
