Director of Corporate Communications

About the role

The Director of Corporate Communications leads LHG’s global public‑relations strategy, working closely with the executive committee and regional PR teams. This senior position shapes brand awareness, manages crisis communications and ensures that all communications support the Group’s sales, marketing and development objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute PR strategies that maximise publicity for all LHG brands, aligning with sales and marketing goals.
• Lead corporate and regional PR teams, maintaining press databases, organising press trips and producing corporate releases.
• Develop and nurture relationships with international trade, travel and lifestyle journalists, editors and influencers.
• Drive crisis‑communication planning, maintain the Crisis Communications Playbook and train senior executives worldwide.
• Oversee content creation across multiple languages, manage external vendors and maintain a centralised content hub.
• Analyse media performance data, produce regular reports and present insights to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of PR/communications experience for a global brand or agency.
• Proven leadership of corporate and regional teams, with strong stakeholder management.
• Extensive network with international business, travel and lifestyle media.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
