Director of Distribution Strategy (Corporate Office)

About the role

The Director of Distribution Strategy will own and lead Langham Hospitality Group’s global distribution approach across all revenue channels and reservations sales. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, this position focuses on driving profitable growth, cost efficiency, and optimal channel mix for both direct and third‑party distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute end‑to‑end distribution strategy covering Direct, OTA, GDS, Wholesale, Meta Search, Reservations and emerging channels.
• Drive direct channel growth by governing booking engine performance and aligning with Revenue, E‑Commerce and Loyalty teams.
• Define global guardrails for rate strategy, inventory management, parity, content quality and brand presentation.
• Maintain and continuously improve SOPs, policies and operating standards for distribution and reservations.
• Lead regular audits on rate parity, reservations quality, content accuracy, data integrity and system configuration across CRS, PMS and RMS platforms.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex distribution or reservations issues impacting commercial performance.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in hospitality distribution, reservations or revenue management at a senior level.
• Proven track record of shaping global distribution strategies and delivering measurable channel performance.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across hotels, regional teams and external partners.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Central Reservation Systems (CRS).
• Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Knowledge of Revenue Management Systems (RMS).
