Director of Fundraising – Global Power Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Fundraising to lead capital‑raising and investor‑relations initiatives for a leading global power infrastructure platform. The role will drive fund closings, expand the investor base, and support the firm’s long‑term growth across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet target capital commitments.
• Lead the full fundraising cycle, from investor origination and roadshows to due diligence, negotiations, and fund closing.
• Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with institutional investors worldwide.
• Design and maintain a proactive investor‑relations framework, ensuring consistent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Prepare and continuously improve marketing materials, presentations, and documentation that translate investment strategies into compelling propositions.
• Collaborate with internal teams on fund structuring, regulatory compliance, and cross‑border investor matters.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and investor sentiment to inform product positioning and capital‑raising opportunities.
• Represent the firm at investor meetings, industry conferences, and international fundraising events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in fundraising, investor relations, private equity, infrastructure, or alternative investment platforms.
• Proven track record of raising institutional capital and delivering multiple fund closings.
• Strong understanding of fund structures, fundraising processes, and investor due diligence requirements.
• Exceptional business‑development, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Strategic, commercially minded, self‑driven with strong execution capabilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively for fundraising and investor engagement.
