Director, Product Development (Life Insurance & Savings)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading life insurance organisation to appoint an experienced Director of Product Development for life insurance and savings. The role will drive product innovation, support key business initiatives and deliver sustainable growth across multiple distribution channels.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and enhancement of insurance products to meet evolving customer and business needs.
• Lead product initiatives from concept through implementation and launch.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver product enhancements, business growth and improved customer experience.
• Coordinate with distribution and business teams to develop product propositions and support market opportunities.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful product implementation and operational readiness.
• Monitor product performance, market developments and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in business planning, project management and strategic initiatives related to product development.
• Ensure product initiatives comply with governance, risk management and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, Marketing or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in life insurance product development, product management or proposition development.
• Strong understanding of product implementation processes and project management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
