Director, Rosewood Foundation

About the role

The Rosewood Foundation is seeking its first Director to lead the next phase of growth and global visibility. Based in Hong Kong, you will own the end‑to‑end strategy, programs, operations, governance, fundraising and reputation of the foundation.

Key responsibilities

• Evolve and steward a multi‑year strategy across the foundation’s two pillars, sharpening theory of change and defining success metrics.
• Lead all operational aspects, including partner selection, program design, monitoring & evaluation, budgeting and disbursements.
• Raise the foundation’s global profile through clear narrative, earned media, digital channels, convenings and speaking opportunities.
• Oversee governance systems, policies and compliance frameworks, ensuring transparency and scalability.
• Engage with the Foundation Board and senior Rosewood Hotel Group leaders to mobilise champions, mentors, funders and advocates.
• Manage existing funding streams while developing new avenues, including pitch development, donor stewardship and fundraising events.
• Design and implement a rigorous monitoring, evaluation and learning framework to track impact.

Required profile

• Senior leader with proven experience in philanthropy, social impact or sustainability initiatives.
• Track record of developing and executing multi‑year strategies and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Strong fundraising and partnership‑building experience, including donor engagement and event management.
• Demonstrated ability to work with senior executives, boards and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to elevate the foundation’s voice globally.
