Enterprise Account Executive (FX & Payment API)

About the role

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system used by more than 675,000 businesses, is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive for its Enterprise Business team. You will sell the FX and Payment API product to APAC-based customers using your network and industry experience. Success depends on reaching target volume and revenue, with significant commission and share option upside. The role is based in Hong Kong or Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the SDR to acquire new enterprise customers across APAC through your existing network.
• Own and drive the full deal cycle, from prospecting to go live.
• Identify new companies, use cases and prospects with the help of the SDR team.
• Work with Marketing, Strategy and others to build a sales funnel that converts.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline and help define best practices for the APAC sales team.
• Provide regular reporting against KPIs, metrics and targets.
• Develop go-to-market strategies for specific verticals or companies.

Required profile

• At least 8 years selling complex technology products to enterprise accounts (fintech experience preferred); more experience considered for Senior Account Executive.
• Proven track record of new business solution selling, ideally in FX, payments, transaction banking or card issuing, in verticals such as eCommerce, marketplaces, fintech or online travel.
• Broad network of key decision makers in payments solutions at target prospects.
• Preferred: API sales experience, startup mindset, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
