Finance Assistant

About the role

Walkers, a leading international law firm, is looking for a Finance Assistant to join its Finance Support Team in Hong Kong. The role provides essential administrative and operational support for financial processes, including billing, accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the month‑end billing process, generate draft bills and verify disbursements.
• Support bill reprints, write‑offs, receipt issuance and ensure draft bills are approved before month‑end close.
• Review time‑keeper narratives for compliance and accuracy.
• Process daily cash receipt bookings, allocate payments to client accounts and maintain up‑to‑date records.
• Perform disbursement entries, prepare cheques and execute online wire payments.
• Record accounts payable, manage staff expense claims and handle third‑party vendor payments.

Required profile

• Team player with a diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• 1–3 years of experience in a finance or accounting support role, or a recent graduate with relevant qualifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
