Finance Director – Group Consolidation & Reporting

About the role

Bitget is seeking a Finance Director to lead its Group Consolidation & Reporting team. You will act as a trusted deputy to the Head of the function, handling complex accounting matters across a multi‑currency, multi‑jurisdictional organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Group Consolidation & Reporting on judgment‑intensive issues and represent the function with senior stakeholders.
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, ensuring technical accuracy and timely delivery.
• Review and approve team work, enforce group accounting policies, and provide guidance on complex accounting judgments.
• Identify and quantify differences between IFRS and US GAAP financials and prepare GAAP bridge documentation.
• Manage the external audit process, serving as the primary contact for the auditor and resolving complex audit matters.
• Collaborate with regional finance, tax, technical accounting, and internal controls to ensure consistent, audit‑ready reporting.
• Support strategic initiatives such as capital structuring, fundraising, M&A due diligence, IPO readiness, and business valuation.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and career development for the team.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CPA or equivalent) required.
• 12+ years of financial accounting experience with hands‑on group consolidation and reporting for complex, multi‑entity organizations.
• Big 4 experience mandatory; experience with US‑listed companies highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; solid working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proven ability to build trust and operate as a senior partner to department leadership.
