Finance Manager – APAC Financial Control

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our APAC financial control team, supporting operations across Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, China and Australia. The role will drive regulatory, tax and audit reporting, contribute to budgeting and outlook processes, and lead finance transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Core member of the financial control team covering HK, Singapore, Taiwan, China and Australia.
• Manage regulatory, tax, audit and other ad‑hoc reporting or filings.
• Contribute to the budget and outlook process.
• Data mining and analysis to produce management reporting.
• Identify improvements to enhance and automate systems and controls.
• Cover and support AUM reporting.
• Project manage APAC finance transformation.
• Provide wide‑ranging ad‑hoc support to the APAC business and global finance function.
• Assist in the development and growth of junior staff.

Required profile

• Chartered accountant with 5‑10 years’ experience or qualified by experience.
• Track record of project delivery, transformation and critical thinking.
• Experience working in a regional capacity preferred.
• Commercial mindset with experience engaging in real‑life business scenarios.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to communicate clearly at all seniority levels.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and manage conflicting demands with minimal supervision.
• Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified candidates.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (tested).
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools.
• Understanding of group structure matrices, cost centres and inter‑company relationships.
