Finance SME – Financial Reporting & IFRS17 (1‑Year Contract)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading insurance organization to deliver a key transformation programme. The Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide deep expertise in financial reporting, IFRS 17 and finance processes, ensuring that business and regulatory requirements are accurately reflected in the solutions delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the SME for financial reporting, IFRS 17 and related finance processes.
• Provide guidance on reporting requirements, accounting rules and regulatory impacts.
• Support solution design, testing and implementation from a finance perspective.
• Review reporting outputs to ensure compliance with business and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with finance, technology and project stakeholders throughout the programme.

Required profile

• Strong experience in financial reporting; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Insurance industry experience is required; broader financial‑services experience also considered.
• Experience supporting finance change, transformation or system implementation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English; Cantonese is an advantage.
