Financial Controller – Supply Enterprise

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead group finance operations for a regional cross‑border supply chain and distribution enterprise. Reporting to the Executive Board, you will own consolidation, tax, treasury, inventory governance and cost‑optimization initiatives across Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full‑cycle group accounting, month‑end/quarter‑end/year‑end closing and consolidated financial statements.
• Prepare board papers, AGM materials and manage statutory external audits for regional entities.
• Conduct on‑site physical stock inspections at warehouses in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Weihai and Dalian.
• Direct cross‑border transfer‑pricing frameworks, HK IRD e‑filings and PRC tax submissions, including BVI Annual Returns and Economic Substance filings.
• Manage rolling cash‑flow forecasts, cross‑border cash pooling, capital allocation, foreign‑debt compliance and FX spot/forward/swap execution.
• Drive AR collections, mitigate bad‑debt risk and implement cost‑improvement programs.
• Lead, mentor and up‑skill the finance team while liaising with banks, tax authorities and senior executives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• 10+ years progressive finance/accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing HK & PRC cross‑border finance operations.
• Willingness to travel periodically to Mainland China warehouses.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (written and spoken).
