About the role
We are seeking volunteers to prepare delicious meals for fellow volunteers under the guidance of experienced kitchen staff. The role supports our volunteer team by ensuring they are nourished during their activities, and it offers the chance to contribute to a global humanitarian mission.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare meals (chopping, boiling, washing, and ingredient preparation) for volunteers.
- Follow the guidance of experienced kitchen staff and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.
- Assist in meal planning, ingredient sourcing, and serving meals during lunch.
- Support other departments in the afternoon if you wish, after the lunch service.
- Help keep the kitchen area organized and stocked throughout the shift.
Required profile
- Basic cooking skills (e.g., chopping, boiling, washing, preparing ingredients).
- Availability Tuesdays to Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM.
- Commitment to the volunteer schedule from June 2026 to December 2027.
- Willingness to work in a fully‑equipped kitchen under supervision.
