Front Desk Associate

About the role

The Front Desk Associate is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering exceptional service during check‑in and check‑out while ensuring smooth hand‑over between shifts. You will act as a liaison between guests and various hotel departments, making sure every request is addressed promptly and that the overall guest experience exceeds expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the highest standard of customer service, consistently going the extra mile to anticipate and fulfill guest needs.
• Manage check‑in and check‑out procedures efficiently and accurately, handling reservations, payments and special requests with professionalism.
• Maintain the Rosewood hand‑over log for the next shift, clearly noting any pending services to guarantee proper follow‑up and completion.
• Assist in up‑holding a comprehensive, current set of departmental standards and procedures, ensuring they remain guest‑focused and are correctly implemented across the front office.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a sizable luxury hotel, or a recent graduate with a related education background.
• Passion for personalized guest service, an anticipatory mindset and a keen eye for detail.
• Professional demeanor with exceptional communication skills.
• Fluent in spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the Opera property‑management system (advantageous).
