Front Office C# Developer – Structured Products (Hong Kong)

About the role

Our client, a global investment bank, is looking for a Front Office C# Developer to design, develop and maintain technology solutions that support structured products origination, valuation and risk/hedging workflows. The role focuses on building robust front‑office and operational applications using C# and Angular in a regulated, high‑performance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain structured products applications, including product configuration, lifecycle workflows and trade capture systems.
• Build and enhance Angular web applications with complex UI behavior such as forms, dashboards and admin tooling.
• Implement backend services and APIs in C#/.NET supporting front‑end functionality and internal integrations.
• Integrate with trading, risk and reference data sources via APIs, file feeds or messaging.
• Apply clean architecture, modular design and state management, ensuring maintainable code.
• Ensure quality through unit and integration testing, code reviews and regression validation.
• Support production readiness with monitoring, incident troubleshooting and change management for releases.
• Collaborate with quants, structurers, operations and other technology teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with C#/.NET for backend development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Angular for front‑end development.
• Experience building production web applications with well‑designed UI workflows and backend APIs.
• Understanding of integration patterns and data flows in financial systems.
• Proficiency in debugging, problem‑solving and performance optimisation for both UI and services.
• Solid grasp of SDLC practices including Git, code reviews, branching, release workflows and CI testing.
