Game Operations Specialist

About the role

Chaos Theory is looking for a Game Operations Specialist to keep its gaming operations running smoothly and to improve them over time. The role sits at the heart of operations, bridging content setup, provider coordination and systems strategy, with an initial focus on keeping the game pipeline precise and seamless.

Key responsibilities

• Navigate provider portals, verify technical parameters and update internal systems so each game launch runs flawlessly.
• Monitor operational health-checking logs, investigate anomalies and help clear hurdles with the team.
• Improve workflows: design better ways to track provider schedules, write clearer documentation and tweak automation scripts.
• Set up new game content via provider portals and internal systems, creating, updating and testing entries before launch.
• Monitor alerts, error channels and maintenance communications, and coordinate with internal teams when content goes live or issues arise.
• Support data gathering and reporting for game dashboards, document recurring processes and known issues, and escalate technical issues clearly.

Required profile

• Strong written and spoken English, with good common sense and basic troubleshooting.
• Comfortable working with technical systems, portals, dashboards, backend tools and admin platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability and responsiveness during Asia working hours.
• Ability to follow processes carefully while spotting where they can be improved, and confidence asking clear questions.
• A practical, hands-on mindset and curiosity about systems, automation and gaming operations.
• Ideally: experience in gaming, digital products or online operations; experience with content providers, CMS tools or product operations workflows; basic understanding of QA, technical support or systems operations; experience with data gathering, dashboards or reporting; exposure to automation, scripting, AI tools or process-improvement projects; experience with distributed teams across Asia timezones.
