Group Finance Director

About the role

We are seeking a highly commercial, hands‑on finance leader to own the Group Finance function for TOKEN2049 and SuperAI. Reporting directly to the Co‑Founder & Managing Director, you will act as a trusted strategic partner and will have the opportunity to evolve into the Group CFO as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute group‑wide financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Produce accurate, decision‑ready reports for the group, individual businesses, events and entities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage multi‑currency operations and consolidate performance across Hong Kong, Singapore, Europe, the UAE and the United States.
• Ensure statutory compliance for Hong Kong entities, including profits tax reporting, audited financial statements and coordination with auditors, tax advisers and secretarial providers.
• Oversee accounting, treasury, banking, controls, corporate structuring and international compliance.
• Partner with founders on major investments, expansion opportunities and resource allocation.
• Lead or support major contract negotiations, partnership reviews and complex commercial agreements.
• Evaluate M&A opportunities, including valuation, financial modelling, due diligence and deal execution.
• Build scalable financial systems and controls while leading a lean finance team of one to two managers.

Required profile

• Strong finance leadership experience, preferably in a high‑growth, international environment.
• Demonstrated ability to combine rigorous statutory oversight with commercial judgment.
• Proven track record of partnering with senior executives on strategic decisions.
• Experience managing multi‑currency, multi‑jurisdictional finance operations.
