Head of Marketing, Asia

About the role

Linklaters is looking for a bold, commercially minded marketing leader to help grow its Asia and Middle East business. You will lead the regional marketing plan, align it with global priorities and drive measurable impact across campaigns, brand activity and client engagement. As a senior member of the global Marketing Leadership team, you will advise senior leaders on marketing performance and investment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the regional marketing strategy, tailored to local market needs
• Oversee high-impact campaigns and initiatives, including events, supporting brand visibility, client engagement and revenue growth
• Advise regional leadership on marketing performance and investment
• Keep brand positioning and messaging consistent while allowing regional adaptation
• Optimise regional marketing budgets and resource allocation
• Work with BD, Comms, Corporate Affairs and business teams to keep activity client-centric and growth-focused
• Share best practices with peers in other regions and monitor market trends, competitors and client expectations
• Support regional KPIs and foster a collaborative, high-performing team

Required profile

• Degree in marketing, business or a related field; advanced leadership or marketing qualifications preferred
• 15+ years of experience, with a track record leading regional or global marketing in a professional services firm, preferably legal
• Proven experience leading direct and matrix teams, mentoring and managing complex projects
• Fluent English and Cantonese; Mandarin preferable

• Use of market data, KPI analytics and CRM systems
• Strong understanding of the digital B2B media landscape, including Chinese and Western platforms
• Experience using AI to deliver outputs and enhance client value
