Human Resources Specialist – East Asia

About the role

The Human Resources Specialist will lead talent acquisition and onboarding for the East Asia region, ensuring a seamless recruitment journey and a positive experience for new hires. In addition, the role supports employee relations, staff engagement, and various HR operational tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment: job posting, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, offer preparation and follow‑up.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, prepare documentation and facilitate induction for new hires.
• Develop and run employee‑relations and engagement initiatives, including a recreational committee and well‑being programs.
• Provide HR operations support such as employee record maintenance, internal communications and visa‑related letters.
• Assist with HR policy implementation, process improvements and APAC projects (job architecture, performance management, pay structure, HRIS rollout).
• Participate in ad‑hoc HR projects as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong independence, proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail, personal integrity and sensitivity.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Experience with HRIS systems, especially SAP SuccessFactors (preferred).
