ICT Technician – ESF Schools (Expression of Interest)

About the role

The English Schools Foundation (ESF) is seeking candidates who wish to join its network of schools as ICT Technicians for the upcoming academic year. This is an expression of interest role, allowing you to be considered for future openings across all ESF campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and test workstations, laptops, Chromebooks, iMacs and other Apple devices.
• Assist with central system and school portal implementations.
• Administer hardware and software inventories.
• Provide AV support for school events, including sound, lighting and video systems.
• Support staff and students in using Microsoft, Apple, Chromebook and iPad technologies.
• Assist in teaching sessions, workshops and ICT training for staff.
• Capture and edit photos and videos for school projects.

Required profile

• Permanent Hong Kong resident or holder of a valid work visa.
• Qualification in systems & communication engineering (desirable).
• Experience in an educational environment is highly desirable.
• Ability to adapt, learn new skills quickly and work well under pressure.
• Strong communication skills in English and a friendly, approachable manner.
