Production Engineer – End User Computing & Automation (Hong Kong)

About the role

You will join a leading global hedge fund as a Production Engineer focused on enhancing the End User Computing (EUC) platform across Asia. The position combines engineering, automation, tooling and observability work, with a strong emphasis on platform improvement and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and automate internal tools to improve the EUC platform and increase operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with global Production Engineering and EUC teams to drive regional initiatives and own platform enhancements.
• Provide production support and handle operational incidents, contributing roughly one‑third of your time.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, release automation and observability solutions.

Required profile

• Strong production engineering mindset with solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands‑on experience with Python, PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production environments and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Experience designing scalable internal tools and automation solutions.
• Excellent ownership, communication and collaboration skills.
