Internal Auditor – Commercial & Investment Bank Markets (Associate)

About the role

Join the Asia Pacific Commercial & Investment Bank Audit team in Hong Kong as an Internal Audit Associate. You will evaluate and report on internal controls across Markets, Securities Services, Sales and Research, helping to strengthen the bank’s risk management framework in a fast‑moving financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute risk‑based audits covering CIB Markets, Securities Services, Sales and Research, including risk assessment, planning, testing, control evaluation and issue validation.
• Provide timely updates and insights to senior audit management and business stakeholders on operational, technology and regulatory controls.
• Communicate audit findings clearly, both verbally and in writing, to influence remediation actions.
• Utilize computer‑assisted auditing tools and identify opportunities for continuous monitoring and automated audit procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
• Stay current on regulatory changes, market events and emerging risks to shape audit coverage.
• Participate in regional and global audit engagements as required.
