IT Audit Manager / Senior Manager – Digital Assurance

About the role

As a Manager or Senior Manager within our Digital Assurance team, you will lead engagements that deliver IT audit and advisory services to clients in the financial services sector, including banking and insurance. You will integrate IT audit procedures with business process testing to validate data lineage, system interfaces, and control dependencies, while overseeing complex project planning and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT audit engagements, assessing design and operational effectiveness of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and application controls across complex financial systems.
• Evaluate internal control frameworks for banking and insurance clients, ensuring alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
• Assess emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, cloud, FinTech, RegTech) and cybersecurity risks related to financial reporting.
• Provide regulatory compliance and operational risk management services, focusing on technology governance, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
• Communicate with audit committees, regulators, and executive management, delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with actuarial, assurance, and consulting teams to deliver integrated, one‑firm solutions.
• Drive business development activities such as proposal writing, client presentations, and relationship management.
• Supervise, coach, and develop team members to ensure consistent quality and professional growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in IT audit, technology risk management, or internal controls, with managerial or supervisory experience.
• Professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CPA.
• Proven expertise in banking, insurance, or asset management and a strong understanding of financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
