IT Support Engineer – Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join a leading financial client. The role involves delivering comprehensive technical assistance across Windows environments, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network components.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Windows hardware, software, and network‑related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems across various systems and applications.
• Support Windows operating systems, VMware environments, and backup operations.
• Execute routine operational tasks and maintain IT asset inventory records.
• Document standard procedures for support and operations, contributing to the internal knowledge base.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of solid experience in IT technical support within financial institutions or insurance firms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Strong team collaboration, effective communication, and excellent organisational abilities.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
