Data Center Operator – Multiple Roles (25-36K)

About the role

We are looking for detail‑oriented Data Center Operators to join the on‑site team supporting a leading AI and computing client’s Internet Data Centre. The role involves monitoring daily operations, handling hardware and network issues, and ensuring smooth incident response in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor data‑centre status, alarms and perform routine inspections and incident reporting.
• Execute shift handovers and provide real‑time on‑site support.
• Resolve server, hardware, network equipment and cabling issues including rack/stack, patching and fibre/copper troubleshooting.
• Assist with emergency handling and escalation according to SOPs.
• Follow work orders, SOPs and SLA requirements for all tasks.
• Support asset inbound/outbound processing, inventory checks, stock control and warehouse management.

Required profile

• Associate degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Logistics or a related field.
• Experience in IDC or data‑centre operations, IT infrastructure or technical operations is preferred; fresh graduates with strong technical interest are welcome.
• Basic understanding of servers, network equipment, optical fibre, cabling and data‑centre facilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with engineers, supervisors, vendors and cross‑functional teams.
• Proficiency in Chinese; Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
