Logistics Assistant Manager – High‑Value Experience

About the role

The Logistics Assistant Manager will support the regional logistics strategy across APAC, acting as a bridge between country teams and the France headquarters. You will drive continuous improvement, manage third‑party logistics partners, and ensure compliance with trade regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the regional logistics strategy aligned with global direction and APAC growth objectives.
• Lead initiatives to shorten lead times, increase agility, and reduce supply‑chain risks.
• Manage 3PL and 4PL relationships, establish SLAs and KPIs, and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Coordinate international freight, inbound warehousing, and final‑mile deliveries, including special projects such as new store launches and hazardous material transport.
• Ensure trade compliance, obtain import/export permits, and oversee customs clearance processes.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, annual stocktakes, and WMS integration.
• Produce logistics performance reports, analyse discrepancies, and collaborate with Retail, IT, Finance and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in high‑value logistics or supply‑chain roles within an APAC context.
• Strong knowledge of 3PL/4PL management, SLAs, KPIs and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Expertise in trade compliance, customs procedures and hazardous‑material handling.
• Ability to analyse data, generate actionable reports and communicate findings to senior management.
• Excellent coordination skills across cross‑functional teams and external partners.
