Maintenance Technician I – Builder (Equestrian Centre)

About the role

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Club’s building facilities, covering carpentry, metalwork, masonry, painting, plumbing and drainage. The role includes supervising contractors, monitoring service quality and ensuring compliance with Club guidelines, while working rotating weekend and public‑holiday shifts with overtime as required.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks across various trades (carpentry, metalwork, masonry, painting, plumbing, drainage).
• Supervise and follow up on contractors, monitoring progress and service quality.
• Report contractor performance and ensure work complies with Club guidelines.
• Carry out duties assigned by supervisors and other property‑related tasks.
• Wear the required uniform and work rotating shifts on Saturday afternoons, Sundays and public holidays; provide overtime during special events or emergencies.

Required profile

• Certificate in Building Studies or Building Maintenance from IVE (or equivalent).
• Minimum five years of experience in carpentry, masonry, painting, plumbing & drainage, metalwork or related building maintenance.
• Possession of Safety Card, Construction Worker Registration Card, Apprenticeship Training Certificate or similar qualifications is an advantage.
• Construction Industry Council (CIC) Skilled Worker qualifications (e.g., Painter & Decorator, Joiner, Bricklayer) preferred.
• Registered Electrical Worker (Grade A) issued by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department.
• Basic reading and writing ability in Chinese and English.
