Manager, Commercial Activation – Asia Pacific

About the role

The Manager, Commercial Activation, Openings & Conversions, Sales will support sales infrastructure, system setup and operational processes during critical ramp‑up and transition periods for Hyatt’s Asia Pacific pipeline hotels. The role focuses on tactical execution of sales systems, account management, market research and sales operations to drive commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain accurate sales databases, complete account and market research profiles, and manage RFP processes.
• Administer sales platforms such as Envision, Cvent, Amadeus and internal CRM tools to ensure account integrity and pipeline activity.
• Support negotiated transient and group sales efforts through research, account setup and sales platform administration.
• Prepare reports, sales documentation and account research to back business development initiatives.
• Monitor account activity, data accuracy and operational readiness using internal dashboards and reporting tools.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hotel sales experience, preferably in a centralized or multi‑property environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client‑engagement skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15% and work in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility ramp‑up environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Hyatt’s Envision, CSM and Cvent Transient platforms (or equivalent CRM/RFP tools).
• Experience using Amadeus and other sales tools for account management.
• Competence in market research and competitive analysis.
• Ability to work with reporting tools and sales databases.
