Marketing Communication Officer

About the role

The Marketing Communication Officer will support the Assistant Marketing Communication Manager in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns for major race day events. This role works closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver engaging, cross‑channel experiences for racing fans.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in digital marketing planning for Major Race Day campaign communications.
• Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Solutions & Services team to develop campaign websites.
• Develop a holistic digital marketing strategy using the club’s marketing toolkit.
• Manage and curate content across all official social media channels.
• Identify optimal digital touchpoints to maximise campaign visibility.
• Work with external agencies to create programmes that drive online‑to‑offline engagement at racecourses.
• Align messaging and branding with cross‑functional teams.
• Stay current with digital marketing trends and best practices.
• Undertake additional duties assigned by the Senior Manager, Raceday Activation.
• Ensure compliance with the Responsible Gambling Policy and other club policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in digital advertising or media agencies.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing planning and strategy development.
• Familiarity with digital advertising agency processes and workflows.
• Passion for horse racing is an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
